Trip.com migrated from Elasticsearch and built a 50PB logging solution with ClickHouse. Storage space savings exceeded 50%, enabling the existing Elasticsearch servers to support a 4x increase in data volume with ClickHouse. Query speed is 4 to 30 times faster than ElasticSearch, with a P90 of less than 300 ms and a P99 of less than 1.5s.
