Talk Description: When Rhenus Logistics started modernizing their BI landscape and migrating to Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, NEOZO explored an alternative architecture: combining Power BI with ClickHouse as the high-performance data engine instead of relying solely on Microsoft Fabric and OneLake. This approach unlocked new opportunities in performance and scalability, but also introduced several technical challenges around integration, data modeling, and query performance. In this talk, Fabrice shared NEOZO’s journey of integrating ClickHouse with Power BI, including architectural decisions, challenges, and the lessons we learned along the way. The session provided practical insights for teams building modern, high-performance data platforms beyond traditional BI architectures.
