What you’ll learn: "ClickHouse with dbt" is a hands-on training that teaches participants how to build a complete, production-grade analytics pipeline by combining dbt Core with ClickHouse. Learners progress from setting up their environment through modeling, testing, governance, documentation, and finally deployment/CI-CD, using dbt's dbt-clickhouse adapter.

By the end of this session, learners will be able to:

• Use ClickHouse to build a multi-layered dbt project following data modeling best practices for both dbt and ClickHouse
• Implement data quality testing using dbt’s built-in and custom tests
• Enforce governance using ClickHouse’s data governance features
• Generate and maintain project documentation using dbt’s documentation features
• Setup a deployment pipeline that uses CI/CD

There will be both instructor-led training and hands-on labs. The materials are presented in modules and will include:

Module 1: Introduction to ClickHouse with dbt
Module 2: ClickHouse and dbt Basics
Module 3: Materialized Views and Incremental Models
Module 4: Testing, Governance, Documentation, and Quality Assurance
Module 5: Deployment

Pre-requisites:

• Basic familiarity with Python
• SQL proficiency
