Confluent ソリューションエンジニア、 熊谷 義直 氏 Miki Matsumoto, ClickHouse @ Senior Support Engineer Yoshinao Kumagai, Solutions Engineer @ Confluent 本セッションでは、高性能なカラム型データベースである ClickHouse と、分散型ストリーミングプラットフォームである Kafka を統合することで、スケーラブルなリアルタイム分析ソリューションを実現する方法をご紹介しました。ClickHouse は大規模データの高速取り込みと分析クエリ処理に優れており、リアルタイムレポーティングに最適でした。一方、Kafka は高スループットのデータ取り込み、メッセージの順序制御、フォールトトレランスを提供し、ClickHouse の機能を強化しました。これらを組み合わせることで、効率的なリアルタイムデータ処理を実現する堅牢なデータパイプラインを構築できることを示しました。本セッションでは、これらの技術がどのように連携して高性能な分析サービスを支えるのかを解説し、さらに Kafka 用の ClickPipes の設定についてライブデモもご紹介しました。

In this session, we introduced how to achieve a scalable real-time analytics solution by integrating ClickHouse, a high-performance columnar database, with Kafka, a distributed streaming platform. ClickHouse excelled at fast ingestion and analytical query processing for large-scale data, making it ideal for real-time reporting. Kafka, on the other hand, provided high-throughput data ingestion, message ordering, and fault tolerance, thereby enhancing the capabilities of ClickHouse. By combining these technologies, we demonstrated how to build a robust data pipeline that enables efficient real-time data processing. In this session, we explained how these technologies worked together to support high-performance analytics services, and we also showcased a live demo on configuring ClickPipes for Kafka.
