# ClickHouse Client




Download and install clickhouse-client (<a href="https://clickhouse.com/docs/en/integrations/sql-clients/clickhouse-client-local" target="_blank">instructions</a>).




Run the clickhouse-client command with your credentials (or simply copy the native connection command from the "Connect" menu under your ClickHouse Cloud service).
```bash
clickhouse-client --host <hostname> \
                  --secure \
                  --port 9440 \
                  --user <username> \
                  --password <password>
```




Start querying ClickHouse!
