# read_from_* 세션 설정

ClickHouse Cloud에서만 적용됩니다. distributed cache용이라는 점을 제외하면 read\_from\_filesystem\_cache\_if\_exists\_otherwise\_bypass\_cache와 동일합니다.

파일 시스템 캐시를 패시브 모드로 사용할 수 있습니다. 즉, 기존 캐시 엔트리는 활용하지만 캐시에 새로운 엔트리는 추가하지 않습니다. 이 설정을 무거운 애드혹 쿼리에 적용하고 짧은 실시간 쿼리에는 비활성화해 두면, 지나치게 무거운 쿼리로 인한 캐시 스래싱을 방지하여 시스템 전체 효율을 높일 수 있습니다.
