# read_from_* セッション設定

ClickHouse Cloud でのみ有効です。distributed cache に対しては、read\_from\_filesystem\_cache\_if\_exists\_otherwise\_bypass\_cache と同じです。

ファイルシステムキャッシュをパッシブモードで使用できるようにします。既存のキャッシュエントリは利用しますが、新しいエントリはキャッシュに追加しません。この設定を高負荷のアドホッククエリに対して有効にし、短時間のリアルタイムクエリでは無効のままにしておくと、重いクエリによるキャッシュのスラッシングを回避し、システム全体の効率を向上させることができます。
