# ClickHouse MCPサーバーを使用してLlamaIndex AIエージェントを構築する方法

> ClickHouse MCPサーバーと対話できるLlamaIndex AIエージェントの構築方法を学びます。

このガイドでは、[LlamaIndex](https://docs.llamaindex.ai) のAIエージェントを構築し、[ClickHouseのSQL Playground](https://sql.clickhouse.com/) を [ClickHouse MCPサーバー](https://github.com/ClickHouse/mcp-clickhouse) 経由で操作できるようにする方法を学びます。

  ## 前提条件
</div>

* システムに Python がインストールされている必要があります。
* システムに `pip` がインストールされている必要があります。
* Anthropic の API key、または別の LLMプロバイダーの API key が必要です

以下の手順は、Python REPL またはスクリプトから実行できます。

<Steps>
  <Step title="ライブラリをインストールする" id="install-libraries">
    以下のコマンドを実行して、必要なライブラリをインストールします。

    ```python theme={null}
    pip install -q --upgrade pip
    pip install -q llama-index clickhouse-connect llama-index-llms-anthropic llama-index-tools-mcp
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="認証情報の設定" id="setup-credentials">
    次に、Anthropic API key を指定します。

    ```python theme={null}
    import os, getpass
    os.environ["ANTHROPIC_API_KEY"] = getpass.getpass("Enter Anthropic API Key:")
    ```

    ```response title="Response" theme={null}
    Enter Anthropic API Key: ········
    ```

    <Info>
      **別のLLMプロバイダーを使用する**

      Anthropic API keyをお持ちでなく、別のLLMプロバイダーを使用したい場合は、
      [LlamaIndex "LLMs" ドキュメント](https://docs.llamaindex.ai/en/stable/examples/)でcredentialsの設定手順を確認できます
    </Info>
  </Step>

  <Step title="MCPサーバーを初期化する" id="initialize-mcp-and-agent">
    次に、ClickHouse MCP serverがClickHouse SQL playgroundを参照するように設定します。
    これらをPython関数からLlama Indexツールに変換する必要があります。

    ```python theme={null}
    from llama_index.tools.mcp import BasicMCPClient, McpToolSpec
    mcp_client = BasicMCPClient(
        "uv",
        args=[
            "run",
            "--with", "mcp-clickhouse",
            "--python", "3.13",
            "mcp-clickhouse"
        ],
        env={
            "CLICKHOUSE_HOST": "sql-clickhouse.clickhouse.com",
            "CLICKHOUSE_PORT": "8443",
            "CLICKHOUSE_USER": "demo",
            "CLICKHOUSE_PASSWORD": "",
            "CLICKHOUSE_SECURE": "true"
        }
    )
    mcp_tool_spec = McpToolSpec(
        client=mcp_client,
    )
    tools = await mcp_tool_spec.to_tool_list_async()
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="エージェントを作成する" id="create-agent">
    これで、それらのツールにアクセスできるエージェントを作成する準備が整いました。1 回の実行でのツール呼び出し回数の上限を 10 に設定します。必要に応じて、このパラメーターは変更できます。

    ```python theme={null}
    from llama_index.core.agent import AgentRunner, FunctionCallingAgentWorker
    agent_worker = FunctionCallingAgentWorker.from_tools(
        tools=tools,
        llm=llm, verbose=True, max_function_calls=10
    )
    agent = AgentRunner(agent_worker)
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="LLM を初期化する" id="initialize-llm">
    次のコードで Claude Sonnet 4.0 モデルを初期化します。

    ```python theme={null}
    from llama_index.llms.anthropic import Anthropic
    llm = Anthropic(model="claude-sonnet-4-0")
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="エージェントを実行する" id="run-agent">
    最後に、エージェントに質問してみましょう。

    ```python theme={null}
    response = agent.query("What's the most popular repository?")
